Ordering & Products

Are your prints original artworks?

All of our prints begin as original artworks created in our studio, either through hand-painted pieces, painted textures and elements that are then digitally composed into the final artwork. Each design is carefully developed to retain depth, colour, and a sense of character that reflects the inspiration.

What sizes do your prints come in?

Our prints are available in a range of sizes depending on the artwork, including A5, A4, A3, 30x40cm, A2, 50x70cm, and 70x100cm. Not all sizes are available for every design, but each collection is carefully scaled to suit a variety of spaces.

Do you sell framed and unframed prints?

Yes — all prints are available both framed and unframed. Our framing options include a curated selection of finishes designed to complement different interior styles. You can view full framing details on our Framing page.

Can I order custom or personalised prints?

Yes, we offer a selection of personalised nursery prints where names and details can be added to selected designs. These are made to order and created specifically for each customer, making them unique keepsakes for nurseries and children’s rooms.

Printing & Quality

How are your prints made?

Our prints are created using a combination of original hand-painted artwork and digital composition, before being professionally produced using high-quality archival inks on premium heavyweight paper. Smaller prints are produced in our home studio using a professional giclée printer, while larger and international orders are produced with trusted professional print partners in the UK and overseas.

What paper do you use?

We use premium heavyweight fine art paper with a soft matte finish, chosen for its rich colour reproduction, subtle texture, and ability to enhance painterly detail within the artwork.

Will colours match what I see on screen?

We carefully calibrate our artwork for print, however slight variations may occur due to differences in screen displays, lighting, and monitor settings. We always aim to ensure the printed artwork remains as true as possible to the original design.

Framing

What frames do you offer?

We offer a curated selection of frame finishes including oak wood, white wood grain, and black wood grain for UK orders, with additional international framing options in natural wood, smooth white, and smooth black finishes.

Do framed prints arrive ready to hang?

Yes — all framed prints arrive fully assembled and ready to hang, complete with secure backing, hanging hardware, and protective packaging.

Are frames available internationally?

Yes, we offer framing internationally in selected finishes. International frames may vary slightly depending on production location, but are always designed to maintain a clean, gallery-style finish.

Shipping & Delivery

How long will my order take?

Unframed prints are typically dispatched within 2–4 working days. Framed prints require a short production time of around 3–5 working days before dispatch. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location and selected shipping method.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to a wide range of international destinations. Some products may be produced locally through our trusted print partners in the UK, US, Europe, or Australia to ensure safe and efficient delivery.

Will I have tracking?

Yes, all orders are sent using tracked delivery services. You will receive tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Where is my order shipped from?

Orders are fulfilled either from our UK studio or through our trusted international production partners depending on size, framing, and destination. This allows us to ensure the highest quality and efficient global delivery.

Returns & Issues

Can I return my order?

As all prints are made to order, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges unless your item arrives damaged or incorrect.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@violetsprinthouse.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will resolve this as quickly as possible.

What if I made a mistake with my order?

If you have made an error with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not yet started, we will always try to assist where we can.

Personalised Prints

Can I change details after ordering?

As personalised prints are made to order, we always send a digital proof of your artwork for approval before production begins. This gives you the opportunity to review the design and request any changes, ensuring everything feels just right before we print.

We will always wait for your approval before moving forward with production.

If we haven’t heard back, we’ll send a friendly reminder to make sure you’ve had a chance to see your proof. If we still don’t receive a response after 7 days, we may cancel the order so it isn’t left pending unnecessarily — but you are always welcome to reorder at any time.

How long do personalised prints take?

Personalised prints are typically produced within 3–5 working days before dispatch, depending on demand and order volume.

What if I made a mistake with my order?

If you have made an error with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If production has not yet started, we will always try to assist where we can.
