Our art prints are printed as fine art giclee prints. Printed on archival museum quality paper, using 12 archival pigment inks that give a rich and intense colour that will last a life time.

Dispatch Times:

For unframed print sizes up to A2, orders will be dispatched the next day via Royal Mail 1st class post.

50x70cm unframed prints and all framed prints are printed with an external print house and will be dispatched in 5 working days (Mon-Fri).

UK Deliveries:

All of our art prints are sent via Royal Mail standard 1st class.

We are pleased to be able to offer free delivery to all our UK based customers.

Royal Mail advise that their first class services can be up to 1-2 working days. In the event your parcel is still not with you beyond this time frame, we advise you contact Royal Mail first to attempt to locate your parcel. To be able to re-send your order we would need to wait until they are officially declared lost under Royal Mail guidelines (10 working days)

Deliveries outside the UK:

Our international orders that are sized A4 or smaller are sent via Royal Mail International Standard delivery. Orders larger than A4 will be sent via Royal Mail International signed/tracked delivery.

Royal Mail advise this service can take between 5 - 7 days.

Packaging:

For A4 or smaller prints:
Each print is sandwiched between two sheets of acid free tissue paper and then the prints themselves are sandwiched between two pieces of board. The two boards are taped together at each of the four sides to keep the prints from moving. This is then placed inside a biodegradable cello bag and inserted into an all board envelope.

For Prints larger than A4:
Each print is sandwiched between acid free tissue paper, either placed in a biodegradable cello bag or protected with an additional layer of strong durable kraft paper, rolled carefully and placed inside a postal tube ensuring the artwork arrives in perfect condition.

All the materials in our packaging are recyclable, we use paper tape, rather than sellotape, for fixing the boards that protect the prints. We use 100% recycled tape for securing the outer ends of postal tubes.

The cello bags are fully biodegradable and compostable which means they break down to CO2 and water.

Our all board envelopes are made from corrugated cardboard which is fully degradable and can be recycled.

Our postal tubes are made with partially recycled materials and can be recycled or reused.
All of our unframed prints come beautifully wrapped in tissue paper secured with our Violets Print House sticker.

We have the option to add a gift note, just enter your personal note into the gift note box on our product page. The note will be neatly handwritten on our Violets Print House gift note slips that are made from premium textured paper.

Our artworks are also available as framed prints with or without a mount. Frames are handmade in the UK and are only made from sustainably sourced FSC wood.

Our framed prints will be neatly taped up at the back and will arrive ready to hang with metal eyelet hardware and cord attached to the back of the frame. The glazing in our frames are made from Clarity+ acrylic that doesn't scratch easily, has a high UV resistance and doesn't yellow over time.

All our frame moulds are made with a 22 x 22mm profile and flat finish.

Mounts:

Our Mounts come in an Iced White colour and 40mm depth.

When a mount is added to your framed print, your print size will decrease slightly by approx 5mm from each side and your finished frame size including the frame mould will increase by approx 7cm in height and 7cm in width from the size you have selected.
